Supporting a leader who understands small business

I'm proud to have the endorsement of fellow local business owner, Steve Samaras. His leadership in the community has gained the respect of so many longtime residents. Below is a snippet of his opinion letter in the Capital Gazette.

"As a small business owner who serves a variety of customers, I stay out of politics. I’ve been in business in Annapolis through eight mayors, and seldom do I express support for anyone running for office. This year, however, I’m making an exception and endorsing Jared Littmann for mayor.

For one reason, he runs a small business himself. During his time as owner and operator of K&B Ace Hardware on Forest Drive, Jared has dealt with the highs and lows — all the things we business people go through. This whole city is built on small business. Jared understands our concerns and has solid skills for running a city with diverse needs and challenges. He must deal with the historic contingent, the maritime component, environmental aspects such as the City Dock renovation, a vibrant commercial district, the city’s finances and the day-to-day problems of constituents."
