Gratitude to Annapolis

In our journey to make Annapolis better for all, I want to share some exciting news. In the six months from launching in January to June 30, we raised over $104,500, surpassing our initial goal by more than $4,000. This milestone is a testament to the strong support and belief that many of you have in our vision for Annapolis.

As the first to announce my candidacy in the mayoral race, I am deeply honored and appreciative of the trust and confidence you have shown in me. Of the over 250 donors who have contributed to our campaign, 78% are residents of Annapolis, and 97% are individuals. This overwhelming support from our community underscores our collective desire for positive change and progress.

Through meet & greets, community gatherings, and fundraisers across various wards, I have had the privilege of listening to your concerns, hopes, and ideas for our city's future. I have also engaged with elected officials, clergy, and other community leaders to build a broad coalition of support. I will continue to do so.

I am incredibly grateful for the contributions from people I have met through my professional life, my work with schools, charities, city groups, and my years serving as Ward 5 Alderman. Your support is critical, enabling us to reach diverse communities, participate in events, and connect with residents and business owners in their neighborhoods. Together, we are identifying the best ways to ensure a successful campaign and serve the people of Annapolis effectively.

My reason for running is simple: I want to improve the services for Annapolis residents and businesses. For more than twenty years, I have served our community as a businessman and public servant, and I have learned so much about the people and this community and what it needs to thrive. Now it’s time to apply my knowledge and experience to help ensure a great quality of life throughout our city.
