Annapolis Patch - Hardware Store Owner, Former Alderman Running For Annapolis Mayor

Updated: Nov 25

Littmann told The Capital he sponsored more than 50 pieces of legislation adopted by the City Council. He said his proudest were a bill to combat deforestation and another to protect Spanish speakers from having to disclose their immigration status when reporting a crime to the police.

Littmann's three campaign talking points are resilience, responsiveness and efficiency.

On resilience, Littmann wants to prevent crime, improve affordable housing options and tackle climate issues.

"We must build communities that are resilient to the impacts of climate change, with a lens on equity and justice," Littmann's website says.\

As for responsiveness, Littmann plans to prioritize customer service. He wants city agencies to quickly respond to the concerns of residents and businesses.

"We need a City government with a culture of getting to yes (not no)," the campaign website says. "Time is money. We need to ensure that City staff has the support needed, with best practices in place, to operate effectively and efficiently."
