Two Ways to Vote

#1 Voting on Election Day - There will be in-person voting in each Ward from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on November 4th (General Election Day).​

- What ward do you live in? ​A detailed, interactive map is available on the City’s Open Data Portal. Voters can enter their address to confirm their ward.​​

#2 Vote by Mail-in Ballot - If you choose to vote by a mail-in ballot, it is important to complete and return your ballot as soon as possible. The final day when ballots will be mailed to voters is Friday, October 31, 2025. For help with receiving a mail-in ballot, call the clerk’s office at (410) 263-7942.

RETURNING a Mail-in Ballots​​​​​

DROP OFF a mail-in ballot to any official City of Annapolis Elections drop box, or return it to a polling location by 8:00 p.m. on the day of the General Election, November 4, 2025.

MAIL your mail-in ballot to your City of Annapolis Board of Supervisors of Elections Office, P.O. Box 788, Annapolis, Maryland 21404, it must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service and mailed on or before the General Election, November 4, 2025.

The final day when ballots can be mailed is Friday, October 31, 2025.

If a regular mail-in ballot application has not been received and processed by this date, the voter will need to request an emergency mail-in ballot from the Annapolis Election Office at City Hall, please call 410-263-7929 or stop by if they wish to vote by mail.

Mail-in Ballot Application​. You must mail or take your mail-in ballot application to your City of Annapolis Board of Supervisors of Elections Office.

If you MAIL your mail-in ballot application to your City of Annapolis Board of Supervisors of Elections Office, P.O. Box 788, Annapolis, Maryland 21404, it must be received by 4:30 PM on October 31.

If you TAKE your mail-in ballot application to your City of Annapolis Board of Supervisors of Elections Office, located at 160 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401, you must deliver it by 4:30 PM on October 31.
